The ideal citizen should give equal importance to duties and rights.

Right to live with dignity after becoming a citizen of the state, right to freedom, equality, right to communication, right to justice, right agains
t torture, right against discrimination, right to property, right to information, right to clean environment, right to education, language and culture, right to health, right to employment, The right to food etc. should be ensured by the state.
The ideal citizen should have good character, healthy life, education, wisdom, knowledge and dedication, selflessness, duty, patriotism and hard work. Selfishness, laziness, illiteracy, poverty, communalism, narrow nationalism, misgovernance, customs and traditions are the obstacles of the ideal citizen. As we seek rights in the family, in our own society, so it is our responsibility to fulfill our duty.
